Here’s how to:
Open Photoshop. I have PS5 but you can use them with any older version.
Open a new file.
Go to Window> Brush Presets. You’ll see a grayed window with the Default Brushes. On the toolbar on your left click the Brush tool. Then go to Brush Presets and the window’s changed to white and now you can use it.
Go to the upper right of this window and click. A menu will open. Click on Load Brushes…
Then open the MML-frames brushes.abr and you’ll see all the frames.
Choose one, resize. These brushes are 1000 px, you can make them smaller, moving the size arrow on the Brush Palette, or bigger until they are 2500 px.
Then choose a color from Window> Color, Window> Swatches, or the Color Picker. To open the Color Picker double click on the upper left square on the bottom of the toolbar on your left .
Then stamp one of the frames on the artboard.
You can play with the opacity of the frames with the tools on the upper toolbar.
And now time to play with colors and shapes!
